Course Policies, Procedures, and Local Rules – The Dunes at Kamloops

ALL GOLFERS MUST check in at the proshop prior to teeing off
Must wear *golf appropriate* attire – see dress code policy for questions
No sunflower seeds or nuts with shells on the course
Ashtrays provided for smokers – please use and return after use
Use handicap-appropriate tees as directed by signage at first tee
No single cart riders unless you’re in a 3-some or paired with strangers
Personal cart use by non-members is not permitted
Each golfer MUST have their own set of clubs
Children under 8 not allowed on course without proshop consent
MUST have valid Class 5 BC (or equivalent) license to drive a golf cart
“L” drivers must be accompanied by a licensed adult
Users are responsible for damage to carts, rental clubs, or facilities
Valid ID and credit card REQUIRED to rent clubs or carts
Carts must stay on cart paths and fairways ONLY
NEVER in bunkers, fescue, tee boxes, greens, or past red stakes/white lines
Applies to electric carts and push carts
No outside alcohol – violators may be removed from course
Back 9 start not allowed unless stated otherwise
Check-in at least 30 minutes prior to tee time
Arrive at first tee 5–10 minutes before tee time
Do NOT tee off early or late without permission
If late, proshop will try to fit you in at the next available time
2 riders MAX per golf cart – no exceptions
2 sets of clubs MAX per cart – no exceptions
No rainchecks unless course is deemed unplayable or delay exceeds 1.5 hours
Use on-course washrooms or those at clubhouse/proshop
NO dogs, recreational walkers, or bike riders allowed on course
No-shows and cancellations < 48 hours (72 hours for 8+ groups) will be charged
Charged 50% of green fees, cart rentals, and club rentals
All prepaid green fees are non-refundable
Non-golfers may only ride/walk with advance permission (and seat must be paid for)
Staff may refuse service or remove guests not following rules
Golf carts MUST be reserved – limited availability, reservations get priority
